I’ve always been interested in the whole world of analyzing odds and making strategic decisions, but every time I try to read up on it, it feels like I need a whole new degree. How do people even start with this stuff without getting completely lost in all the jargon and math?

It’s funny how people assume that having a "gut feeling" about an outcome is the same as understanding probabilities. The two aren’t even remotely the same, and yet, that misconception is everywhere.
